I’m Bailey – founder of B. Adventuras. I’m an adventure seeking full-time traveler (digital nomad) since early 2020 (yep, just before the pandemic hit). 

My education is in bio-cultural anthropology and my favorite activity in the world is hiking mountains. So it just makes sense that my life on the road is centered around nature and culture.

From patting people down at the airport (TSA agent) to selling insurance and slinging latte art, I had a bit of an eclectic journey towards discovering I was capable of creating the life I dreamed of.

I went on my first international trip in 2019. About 6-months after returning— during a particularly tough solo hike— I asked myself what I would do if I could do anything in the world. You can probably guess that the answer was travel the world.

I was young and had nothing to tie me down, so I turned into the classic “sold all my belonging and hit the road” kind of backpacker. And boy, did I love it. 

There wasn’t a single moment between planning the “1-year trip” and hitting that 1-year milestone that I didn’t already know it wasn’t a phase(, mom).  Even in the grips of the pandemic, I knew this was my new life. The life of a nomad.

So I kept going, making some money in the stock market and managing it as best I could. Eventually, I got back into freelancing to play around and find out what skills I was actually good at after all this time.

In 2021, I started working in the travel industry. What a surprise it was to figure out that travel logistics was not only fun and I was really good at it, but it was an incredible way to directly change peoples lives. As the saying goes: Travel is the only thing you can buy that makes you richer.

2022 came around and I was living/traveling through Peru when suddenly I had clients who hired me to do the logistics for their around-the-world trip. I was hooked, and I needed to make it official. That’s when B. Adventuras changed from a “travel blog” to a “travel planning company” and I never looked back.

As a nomad who is obsessed with getting to know every corner and detail about the planet, always seeking adventure, and caring deeply about the human race, all I can do now is share that with others. It’s my way of making the world a better place.
