Why
This is about as diverse of a country as you can get (maybe besides Peru). Vietnam is known for their incredible cuisine, awe-inspiring scenery, largest cave system in the world, Mekong Delta, heartbreaking war history, and warm people. The north, center, and south are all distinctly different from one another and should be explored. Vietnam has become a huge bucket list destination for all levels of travelers alike due to the endless amount of adventures you can have.
Where
Vietnam is a coastal country that hugs Cambodia and Laos with China directly north. There’s a lot of coast and even a few islands to explore.
How
Vietnam is a very lonnngg country so the best way to get around is by a mix of flights and private transfers. The roads are absolutely covered in motorbikes and it takes a very skilled driver to get around, so I definitely recommend hiring a driver. Unless you’re planning to do your own motorbiking excursion, which I also recommend!
