Nepal
Why
As the “rooftop of the world”, Nepal is a spectacular sight to see. Mystical in its default nature, beautiful old-growth forests, and the tallest mountains in the world. You can find hiking trails beyond your wildest dreams, temples and prayer flags never far from eye-sight, cheap outdoor shopping, and wonderfully warm people. Nepal has a lot going for it.
Where
Directly north of India and south of Tibet, with Kazakstan to the west and China to the east. Centered in middle Asia.
How
Depending on where you want to get to, you’ll get there by flying, driving, or hiking. Going between the two largest cities in the country, you can either take a 10 hour bus ride or a measly 25 min flight. Practically a skip away from each other, but entirely their own personalities.
