Morocco

From Ancient Medinas to Sahara Dunes

Morocco is a country of vibrant markets, stunning landscapes, and rich history. From the bustling souks of Marrakech to the golden dunes of the Sahara, it offers a mix of ancient traditions and breathtaking scenery. Visitors can wander through the blue-painted streets of Chefchaouen, explore the medieval alleys of Fes, or ride camels across the desert under a starlit sky. The Atlas Mountains provide incredible hiking opportunities, while the coastal city of Essaouira offers a relaxed seaside escape.
It pairs well with Spain, Portugal, or Egypt, creating a journey that blends European and North African influences. Many travelers take a ferry from Spain to Tangier for a cultural shift or combine Morocco with Egypt to explore two of North Africa’s most fascinating civilizations.

Why

Between gorgeous, photo worthy streets around every corner of the country, delicious Moroccan food, deep cultural experiences, vibey coasts, and majestic desert, you really can’t go wrong.

Where

The most northwestern country on the Africa continent. Boarding the Mediterranean Sea to the north, Algeria to the east, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Plus it’s just over the Gibraltar Strait from Spain, making it a perfect add-on to your southern Spanish trip.

How

It’s up to you! Hiring a driver to take you around the country makes your trip an absolute breeze. But by renting a car, or even a campervan, you can experience the country on your own time in your own way. There are also trains, busses, and flights to get you around to major cities.
