Nepal is known for its towering Himalayan peaks and diverse landscapes, from the Everest Base Camp trek to the serene lakes of Pokhara. Popular treks like the Annapurna Circuit offer stunning views and a glimpse into the lives of local communities.
The country is rich in culture, with ancient temples, monasteries, and festivals in the Kathmandu Valley, and Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, offering a spiritual retreat. Nepal’s mix of adventure and heritage makes it an ideal destination, often paired with Bhutan or Tibet for a complete Himalayan experience.
Why
As the “rooftop of the world”, Nepal is a spectacular sight to see. Mystical in its default nature, beautiful old-growth forests, and the tallest mountains in the world. You can find hiking trails beyond your wildest dreams, temples and prayer flags never far from eye-sight, cheap outdoor shopping, and wonderfully warm people. Especially for the hiker, Nepal is hard to beat.

Directly north of India and south of Tibet, with Kazakstan to the west and China to the east. Centered in middle Asia.
How
Depending on where you want to get to, you’ll get there by flying, driving, or hiking. Going between the two largest cities in the country, you can either take a 10 hour bus ride or a measly 25 min flight. Practically a skip away from each other, but entirely their own personalities.
