Where
It’s the long, boot shaped European country smack dab in the middle of the Mediterranean— plus Sicily, the largest island in the Med. With the Alps to the north and nothing but sea around the rest, you can’t go wrong anywhere in the country.
How
Traaiiiins. Italy is part of the world’s greatest train lines and is by far the best way to get around; across long distances that is. The second best way to get around is by Vespa, of course. But you don’t want to be carrying any luggage so let’s find you the cutest villa where you can ride off on your vespa all day long so you can come back and stuff your face with pasta and wine.
